Exercise Rehabilitation

The primary objectives of exercise rehabilitation are to facilitate recovery, prevent re-injury, and develop resilience. Returning to full function and exceeding one's pre-injury ability is the ultimate goal of exercise rehabilitation. Pain and immobility can be very troubling as they can affect fundamental actions and movements, causing changes to one's lifestyle. The benefits of exercise rehabilitation include:

  • Faster recovery
  • Reduced Pain
  • Restore muscle strength, endurance, and power
  • Restore range of motion
  • Enhance proprioception
  • Create resilience and reduce the chance of re-injury

Prevention is always better than a cure. Injury prevention exercises are essential for maintaining a healthy body. The following are the fundamentals of an injury prevention program:

  • Strength
  • Power
  • Range of Motion
  • Balance
  • Body Control
  • Proprioception
